WORSHIP WITH US SUNDAYS at 10:15am!

Adults

Adult Sunday School typically encompasses two offerings at any given time during the school year.

Coffee time begins at 9:00 a.m. and classes meet from 9:15 a.m. to 10:00 a.m.

CLASSES

Ongoing offerings:

The Friendship Class meets in Ryan Hall and carefully studies Scripture verse by verse. This class has most recently studied the Book of Hebrews, 1 and 2 Timothy, and Paul’s letter to the Romans.

The Wired Word is a curriculum relating scripture to current news events. Every week, the editorial board of the Wired Word prepares a Christian-based interdenominational study guide that they distribute on Thursdays for the following Sunday school classes. If you want to participate, please contact the church office for more information.

Summer Series:

Each Summer, FPC hosts a series titled “Faith and…” Each Sunday, we host a different speaker and expert in their field, who provides a thoughtful presentation about their vocation and how it relates to their faith.

Special Offerings:
During Advent and throughout the year, FPC hosts other studies that may be more contextual or based on particular books. We have studied theological works, contemporary approaches to Scripture, and other topics that promote faith formation across various groups.

The Currie Enrichment Series offers a weekend of presentations from noted theologians and scholars. This series takes place every other year. FPC has been fortunate to host well-known theologians, Bible scholars, and church leaders from the denomination.

SMALL GROUPS

Men meet on Tuesday mornings at 7:00 a.m. for Bible study, donuts, and coffee. This study follows the most current sermon series.
