Benevolence giving is a key part of our outreach ministry. From our 2008 budget we will distribute over $230,000 in support of:
- our own mission projects (Children’s Corner, HOPES Kitchen and the YES Center)
- Presbyterian organizations in our area (Schreiner University, Mo-Ranch, John Knox Ranch, Pan-American School, Presbyterian border ministry)
- the national and international mission of the Presbyterian Church (USA)
- a variety of organizations and agencies in our area, including:
- American Red Cross
- Any Baby Can
- CASA
- Christian Assistance Ministry (CAM)
- Christian Women’s Job Corp
- Dietert Meals on Wheels
- Doyle School Community Center
- Habitat for Humanity
- Hill Country Crisis Center
- John Knox Ranch
- K-Star
- Raphael Free Clinic
- Salvation Army
Further benevolence dollars are raised through an annual Christmas Alternative Gift Market and seasonal offerings of the Presbyterian Church.
